So, this is going to be a super quick post because I’ve had a pretty basic two weeks and haven’t done anything super out of the ordinary. Today, I’ll be sharing the few things I’ve been up to and what I’m currently loving in general!
Let’s do it.
What’s the Roast: Life
I’ve had a pretty relaxed few weeks where I’ve been working on the blog, submitting paperwork, and enjoying frequent Netflix binges. I’m really trying my best to stay productive while I’m hanging out at my parent’s house in Virginia.
I took a small mini-vacay with a college friend in the Outer Banks which was a super relaxing break after the craziness that was graduation weekend. I love time spent by the pool with good friends and family.

I’m headed back to North Carolina this week to move out of my college apartment! It’s crazy that I’ve been living in the same place for two years and that I’m headed to a completely different state. First, I have to comb through all the random stuff I’ve compiled and hopefully let a few things go!
What’s the Roast: Current Loves
Entertainment
The Bachelorette is back and you bet I’m tuning in every Monday. I honestly don’t know why I love this show so much, but it really is SO entertaining. The guys look pretty standard this season, but Chris Harrison must have found out about my stellar prediction abilities because the season overview didn’t give away much. I’m curious to see how the season turns out for Becca.
Style & Beauty
I just made a huge Old Navy purchase #typical. Mostly for work appropriate and breathable shorts for the summer. I also purchased some new graphic tees and easy tops to pair with them. My summer style is a mix of cool-girl jean skirts with white tees and breezy sundresses.
We’re giving away some of my accessory favorites that you can enter here. Between the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac and Francesca’s bar necklace, we’ll be twins!
Health and Fitness
You know I love group fitness classes to get in my cardio, so there’s no surprise I’m back in my Zumba class rhythm. Hannah and I also tried out a spin class at our local gym and it was a much-needed switch up! My favorite song was Low [you know the song]; the instructor’s choreography was so FUN.
What’s the Roast: From My Lens
I’ve been itching to get back behind the lens and I had a couple of mini chances in the past few weeks. Hannah and I took over a local coffee shop and I also took photos of my younger brother’s TWO proms. It’s so funny that it’s been over a year since I’ve really gotten into photography. Couldn’t imagine my life without it now!
S/O to the sweetest baristas who give out free drinks to take pictures with!
