Hello November! I forget how much I love the last months of the year and it’s a real joy when they roll around. Today we’re gonna cover some style picks for holiday parties and seasonal activities, pop culture moments from the week, and other fun links and things. Let’s get into it.

1| I’m finally back on YouTube and very excited about it! It warmed my heart to see the excitement in the comment section. Check out a weekend in my life in NYC in my newest vlog from last Sunday. Be sure to subscribe and turn those notifications on to stay informed on new videos!

2| I’ve been looking for more Black life and style creators across platforms with a similar aesthetic and vibe to myself. I recently came across Dahana on TikTok and I’m obsessed. Check her out!

3| Polène opened a stunningly gorgeous new boutique in SoHo and I am itching to get down there. I have my eye on this bag, specifically. I have been really feeling the 90s-esque shoulder bag and I like the price point of this brand. We will see!

4| I don’t know what has gotten into me but I also am really feeling creative when it comes to makeup and I want to improve my skills. Up to this point, it’s been very little technique and mostly just vibes and luck. It’s my goal to have a winged eyeliner and a strong command over colorful eyeshadow looks by the new year. I shared my Sephora sale picks last week and it included an eyeshadow palette that I’m seriously considering picking up.

5| I attended my first holiday themed event of the season with Rituals Cosmetics in celebration of their advent calendar. The advent calendar is certainly great and super cute to have in your home for the holiday, but their candles, perfume, and reed diffusers are where the money is. The limited edition holiday scents are genuinely so stunning!

6| I wore this fun oversized blazer moment this week and styled it with some wide leg trousers and platform Converse sneakers. I once again need to make a case for Nuuly especially during holiday party season. You don’t need a new outfit for every event by any means, but I feel like the holidays are especially festive and everyone is photo ready. I feel my most confident when I’m in a dope outfit. 8| Enola Holmes 2 drops today on Netflix and it’s the first things I’m turning on when I get home today. The first one was so fun and surprisingly really good! White Lotus Season 2 dropped last week on HBO Max and I’m intrigued; definitely will be tuning in on Sundays to see where they go with this new season. I also saw Black Adam last week and it was bad. Still love you, Dwayne!

10| Central Park is absolutely gorgeous right now. If you’re in the city or visiting soon, you have to make sure to stop by. Grab a coffee from 787 and a pastry from Orwashers or Butterfield Market and make it a morning or afternoon activity!
