Happy Friday! We are back with another weekly recap. October is coming to a close and the holidays are officially right around the corner. Let’s get into some monthly favorites, beauty picks for the Sephora sale, and moments from the week.
The Sephora Sale starts today! See below for my picks and shop it here!

Ugg szn is here and so is a new NYC pop up. I had the pleasure of attending the opening of the Feel House by Ugg pop up in Williamsburg. Tierra Whack was the musical guest and she was incredible! I have been listening to Pretty Ugly on repeat for the past week.
I was in a big reading rut for the past few weeks. It was big month for TV and film. My free time was going almost exclusively to staying tuned in there. But, I finally finished The Siren by Katherine St. John. It had an incredibly slow build up, but the last 100 pages of the novel were worth it. Overall, it was a solid read! I’m starting You Made A Fool of Death With Your Beauty by Akwaeke Emezi. And, I’m already a few pages into The Idiot by Elif Batuman.
I finally unboxed one of my birthday gifts from my parents. Yes, my birthday was in August. No, I don’t want to talk about it. But, it is this gorgeous pot from Le Creuset. It is genuinely the most perfect size for a personal serving of rice or boiling a couple of eggs without wasting a ton of water. I got it in the Meringue shade and it is gorgeous and compliments my kitchen color scheme nicely.
I am a big fan of cowboy boots now apparently. These from Dolce Vita are the perfect Fall/Winter boot and pair nicely with wide leg jeans, midi skirts, and dresses. While they are a little pricey, I know I’m going to get a ton of wear out of them during the extensive cold months here in the city.
Saie Beauty teamed up with 35+ other brands (some of which are personal faves like Topicals, Versed, and Necessaire) to launch the Every Body Campaign. They kindly sent over some products from the collection and I’m super excited to try the lipstick from mented and The Outset’s serum! 100% of proceeds from items in the collection will go towards championing reproductive rights through the nonprofit, Sister Song.
The romantic comedy is making a come back and I am so excited. Ticket to Paradise, starring rom com queen Julia Roberts opposite George Clooney, was a fun and easy going movie. I have to admit I was giggling throughout. While I wouldn’t say its the best rom com I’ve ever seen, I am here for Hollywood bringing the genre back to theatres.
I finished up season 2 of One of Us Is Lying and I’m still shocked that it doesn’t get more press. It’s based off a semi-popular YA book series and is distributed by Netflix in other countries and Peacock TV in the states. It’s a cross between Pretty Little Liars and Gossip Girl and I loved it! I am patiently waiting for news of Season 3!
The Tudors exhibit at The Met was a fun weekend activity especially as it gets chillier outside. You can also follow up with a stroll in Central Park as the foliage is definitely close to its peak. It’s definitely my favorite time of the year to be in the park! I am also super excited to see the upcoming Mugler exhibit coming to the Brooklyn Museum and the Edward Hopper exhibit currently open at The Whitney.
I have a pretty slow weekend planned(I’m not big into Halloween anymore if we’re being honest). I’m excited to make a trip down to The Container Store for some organizational items and doing a full closet clean out/Goodwill drop off. It’ll be nice to have an organized space in time for the start of a new month, too!
