Hello friends and Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing some quick links and moments from the week also known as my October Diaries. Happy to see many of you enjoying these weekly round ups! I appreciate every DM and love connecting with y’all. Let’s get into it!
1| The Hill House Home Holiday collection dropped on Wednesday and so did my sponsored collaboration with them! Check out my TikTok here. I’m wearing the ’Ellie’ Nap dress(one of my favorite styles) in Blackwatch Tartan! I also love the headband in the same print, too!
2| Taylor Swift dropped Midnights last night! I’m not really a “Swiftie” but I do appreciate good music! I enjoyed a few tracks off the album including Anti-Hero, Vigilante Shit, and Bejeweled, but overall this isn’t one of my favorites!
3| Last weekend was pretty chill for me and I had a blast. Autumn on the Upper East Side can be such a treat especially in mid-late October. I’m excited for the next weeks in the city when the leaves are really showing off. I also got a chance to revisit the greatness that is Bubby’s which is still one of my favorites for folks visiting! 4| I went to an event with Del Maguey with Fenia this week and it was such a fun evening. It was hosted at Casa Carmen in Tribeca. The food was delicious and the Del Maguey mezcal was exquisite. I’m in general not a big mezcal girl, but enjoyed all the cocktails and tastings! The event was in celebration of the Mexican holiday, Día de Los Muertos and it was great to learn more about the tradition!
5| I have another round of Nuuly picks and I’m super excited to style and wear everything. I am always so tempted to purchase items that I pick out including these 4th and Reckless Knit trousers and this Avec Les Filles leather trench. Use my link for $10 off your first month!
6| In beauty, I’m still trying to get more comfortable with trying different looks especially when it comes to lips, eyes, and complexion products like blush and bronzer. Merit dropped a holiday version of their Flush balm “Mars”. Sephora’s saleis coming up and so I need to get my list of “want to try’s” together before then! I’m in the market for some highly pigmented, colorful eyeshadow shades; let me know if you have any leads!
7| I’m wondering why you aren’t subscribed to @sainthoax on Instagram. Truly one of the funniest accounts and does not miss!
8| Netflix’s School for Good and Evil is out now( I went to an early screening a couple of weeks ago) and I’m curious what others think of the movie. I never read the books, so I went in super blind, but enjoyed! It’s opening to mixed reviews and not for the reasons I would have thought if we’re being honest!
9| I am in a style crisis again! I fear that my shoe collection is just not where it needs to be. I’m on the lookout for a cool pair of booties, some higher quality loafers, a fun kitten heel, and a cool sneaker.
10| I really want to fill some of my empty wall space with artwork. I ordered a couple of prints from Desenio and just picked up this Zara Home stool for my vanity area. The wall over my sofa is looking particularly bleak these days and I’m ready to find some artwork to. I am over the empty walls. Also, I want to put curtains up on my windows. I’m eyeing these from west elm.
