The post-grad life transition can be a true struggle. It’s the first time that a lot of us have to actually start to learn how to be adults. Between starting your new job or internship and finding a new apartment, you have to also handle the basics of living life. It shouldn’t be that hard right? LOL. You would think, but it can hard sometimes to remember to complete all five steps of your nightly skin routine. Today I’m sharing 10 of my favorite lifestyle products that make that post-grad transition, and life in general, easier. I’ve tried a lot of new products over the past year. These are my favorite products and are definitely worth the sometimes pricy cost.

10 Lifestyle Products That Make Life Easier
Pour & Filter Brita
I have been a huge Brita fan since the early days of college. It was one of the first things I bought for my dorm room. One thing I always hated was how long it took to refill my Brita because the water had to filter first. But now, they make a filter as you pour Brita and it is the best thing EVER. It helped me out significantly with increasing my daily water intake. Now, I drink at least 64 oz a day easily in my Hydroflask.
Keurig Latte System
I am a huge coffee person. It’s a bad habit, truly, but I don’t see it going anywhere anytime soon. I opted to get the Keurig latte system because I wanted the ability to make more complex coffee drinks if I wanted. My K-cup collection had also become quite large so I didn’t want to ditch the Keurig brand entirely either. When I first say the K-Cafe system, I thought that it might be kind of a lot. And it is a lot but in all the best ways.
Ember Mug
I got the Ember mug as a Christmas gift last year and it had been one of those products that I wasn’t entirely sure about. I feel like those products make the best gifts. It’s like, “WOO, I get to try this and if it actually sucks at least I didn’t spend my money on it. lol” I actually love it because it’ll keep my coffee warm for the entire time I get to drink it. I make a cup to start off my morning routine and by the end, it’s cold. You can control the temperature inside the Ember app and it’s just a nice gadget to have if you want to keep your coffee warm for the entire drinking experience.
Clean Skincare Products
I have a very strong love affair with my First Aid Beauty regiment. My entire morning routine of skincare products is FAB. The radiance pads and the everyday serum are definitely my personal favorites. My skin feels rejuvenated and healthy and better than ever. I only recently decided to invest in the full-sized products and I’m so glad that I did!
Velvet Hangers
I feel like a 2013 mommy blogger even making this suggestion, but velvet hangers will change your life. As someone who has extremely ~limited~ closet space. I have a serious appreciation for such a stylish and practical product. I’ve been using these hangers since the dorm days and I couldn’t imagine my closet with anything else. Velvet hangers keep your clothes stable and will allow you to maximize your closet space. 10/10 would recommend. You can get them from Amazon or buy them from Bed, Bath and Beyond and use a coupon! I think I got a 50 pack from Target that was on sale.
Key Chain Wristlet
This is the only high-end designer product that I have in my collection. But, my Louis Vuitton key clay is my favorite thing ever. It is 100% worth the money and after knowing how handy it is, I would definitely have purchased it with my own money. *Thank ya, Mom, for being the best gift-giver ever.* It’s really great for any fellow city dwellers. I keep my keys and important cards/cash in here for easy reach. It’s not as bulky as a traditional wallet which is nice and my metro card is always within an easy reach. I have the traditional monogram style and it’s a classic staple in my opinion.
Short Rain Boots
Afternoon rainstorms are no joke here in NYC. My short Hunter boots are really fantastic for those summer storms and the glossy touch is so chic. I love wearing these so that I don’t have to slow down to navigate the massive puddles that accumulate so quickly in the city. I have tall ones too, but they are kind of hard to walk in and better for snowy days/colder weather.
Reusable Grocery Bag With Insulation
When I was in high school, I got a Whole Foods gift card and had no idea what to use it for. Whole Foods was at least 40 minutes away from where I lived and I still ate the food that my mom bought from the grocery store. So, naturally, I decided that an insulated grocery bag would be a great investment and the gift card was the perfect amount to cover that and a bougie fruit bowl. *I love the precut bowls that you can get at Whole Foods.* I walk from Trader Joe’s to my apartment and in the summer I want all my refrigerated goods to stay frozen/fresh. Cue the magnificent insulated bag.
NutriBullet
No one, and I mean no one, actually wants to spend 10 dollars on an overpriced smoothie from the local organic shop. NO one. Cue why my NutriBullet is one of the best purchases I ever made. I bought this with my own money and it was totally worth the investment. I use this to make smoothies and smoothie bowls. It can easily blend frozen fruits to make the perfect smooth consistency. You can apparently use this to make a lot of other things. But, I am a beginner.
AirPods
AIRPODS ARE ACTUALLY WORTH THE MONEY: A hill I will gladly die on. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said this to people. The only time I wouldn’t use my AirPods is when I’m on the plane trying to sleep. If you drop one, you might never see it again. However, I wouldn’t want to live my life without my little Pod buddies. In fact, I actually get visually sad when the little “battery is low” sound comes on. Moral of the story: go buy them immediately and keep them charged.
So, those are my 10 favorite lifestyle products that I couldn’t imagine living my life without. Do you have any products that you love that are worth investing in? Let me know down in the comments!
