I miss y’all a lot. I’ve been super busy working with first-year students but I also wanted to pop in and write today’s weekly chat for ya. I used the super handy new Instagram question feature [I’ve basically forgotten all about chronological order now] to get some suggestions on what to write next.
Y’all were super interested in how I approached the graduate school admissions process AND how I’ll be approaching the transition from undergrad to graduate school. Additionally, you were v. interested in how I’ll be transitioning from the slower paced town of Chapel Hill to the bright city lights of New York City.
I found all of that input to be super handy so thank you! If you have suggestions for things you’d like me to write about in the next few weeks you can follow along on stories or submit your questions here with my #AskGab form.
Today, it’s all about my favorite thing to talk about in general right now: the city.
I’m going to break down the things that I’m most looking forward to when I move in less than a month by ‘hood. From the best restaurants to iconic sights, there’s something in here for everybody. I literally am on the edge of my seat; just itching to start exploring my new city. Let’s get to it.
