Vests are my fall/winter style pick. You can layer those bad boys with sweaters, dresses, and tunics. I have about 4 different vests at this point and I can make an infinite amount of super cute outfits that take minimal effort. This is my main goal when it comes to fashion especially when I’m at school. My favorite vests are from J. Crew Factory. The Herringbone Vest is probably my favorite out of the bunch. I have styled this vest several different ways in the past couple of years and today I’m sharing those looks and picking some similar options for you to shop!
All Black T-Shirt Dress & Tights
This is the perfect outfit for an afternoon coffee date with your girlfriends. It’s also perfect for that impromptu photoshoot. I love pairing all-black outfits with this vest because it’s polished and classy. I also love pairing gold accessories with this look. My Kendra Scott necklace basically never leaves my neck and is the perfect everyday jewelry piece.
Turtleneck & Jeans!
This second outfit is perfect for that semi-chilly day. I love love love these booties from ALDO a couple seasons back. Literally the perfect shoe for stylish casual events. I’m pretty sure I just made that classification up but you get my point. Also, I love how my mom could not get me to wear turtlenecks when I was a kid, but I continuously search for oversized and cute turtlenecks. They are so stylish and keep your neck so warm in the winter. This one is from J. Crew Factory! Also, if anyone is looking for the perfect cross body, I can’t recommend the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac enough. It’s seriously been the best addition to my accessory game.
Oversized Sweaters & Sneakers!
This last look is comfy and casual and is an actual representation of what I would wear to class. The emerald sweater has been my favorite for a couple years now. The funny thing is that I barely have any color in my closet now (#neutrals rock) and everything is either emerald, maroon, or mustard. Also, I stole these shoes from my mom; they are very trendy and so is she! These jeans are from Old Navy and are a great dupe for some higher end options and cost me under $20 dollars and fit like a dream.
I seriously am always wearing this vest! If you’re looking for more style inspiration! Follow @theswirlblog on Instagram and Twitter. I also post OOTDs sometimes on my personal account, @gabbywhiten! Happy fall styling!
