So there is that wishlist buzzing around the internet about things to get a basic college student and while that list is wildly accurate [likely written by a college student, #wow], I’ve come up with my own guide of trendy and fun gifts for the college gal in your life. If you’re balling on a budget, like myself, you can check out my first blogmas post here which is a Under $30 Gift Ideas post!
I would probably recommend this post to all my friends who, also like myself, don’t know what the heck to ask for! Now, after you do a little bit of research [aka Youtube videos and online shopping], it’s pretty easy to come up with a DREAM wishlist. So, here I’ve compiled a list of ideas for the stylish, artsy, and basic college gal in your life. It ranges from SPLURGE to simple. If you needed help rounding out your Christmas list, you’re welcome!
S’well bottle
I have a super cute off brand Rose Gold water bottle that keeps my water crisp for hours, but too a splurge a little bit on a larger S’well bottle? I’d say yeah! Perfect for college gals who want to drink more water.
DSLR Camera- Canon Rebel T6i
As a blogger, I would really like to up the photo game. My eyes are on the Canon Rebel series for a good starter camera. DSLR cameras are so freaking expensive, so I’d love to do more research, but I’ve used a Canon and Nikon and Canon has definitely stole my heart!
Faux Fur Vest
Trendy fashion items frequently make my Christmas lists simply because I find myself always buying simple staples. I’ve gotten some quality fashion pieces over the past few years, and this time I’d probably ask for a Faux Fur Vest #luxe.
Walkable Ankle Boots
A girl can never have too many ankle boots for those nippy fall/winter mornings.
Leather Backpack!
So, when we started the blog, I would have never thought that companies would seek us out to help them promote products or even to collaborate with us on the best way to get the word out about their brand! Leather backpacks have been all the rage for this winter season and when SOLO contacted us to try and promote their new line of products. I couldn’t pass it up!
I was sent the SOLO Bridgehampton Ladies Backpack and I love it! It’s a nice medium sized, leather backpack [10/10 for fitting my 13 inch Macbook Pro!]. Here are some candid pictures of my new backpack. This is the perfect weekend bag for holding all the essentials when traveling, shopping, or Starbucks homework binges!
I love how this naturally turned into a mini photo shoot!
Dress // Scarf {similar style} // Necklace // Shoes {see above}
Alex & Ani Bangle
A girl can also never have too many A&A bangles.
{GRE} Study Books and Notecards
Yeah, so this may be odd, but so necessary! I’d honestly be such a happy camper to find a study book and note cards under the tree!
North Face Backpack
My book bag has a hole in the back of it, so I think is quite practical.
Blanket Scarf
Scarves have been a small obsession of mine for the past few years and another one [possibly plaid] would be a nice addition to the abnormally large collection.
Marble Phone/ Laptop Case
I have a marble phone case, so why not perfect the aesthetic and make the laptop marble too? My case is also broken, so this is more practical than anything!
